The first New Zealand film to punch a card

The first time I saw a New Zealand movie, I really laughed all the way. Best comedy movie ever!
The film tells the story of ricky, a bear child who was adopted by a couple, and his aunty died when he just opened up to his aunty. In order to escape the re-adopted bear child from the orphanage, he wanders in the New Zealand forest with his uncle.
ricky is a real bear. At the beginning, when someone adopted him, his tugging appearance made people want to beat him up, but after he established a relationship with the family, he still resolutely continued to pit the family. In order to escape the pursuit of the orphanage, he pretended to self-immolate but did not expect to burn the entire wooden house, causing his uncle to live in the forest, and then provoked his uncle to say that he was raised by a wolf and broke his leg. At the end of the film, in order to let Uncle continue to run away with him, he loudly declared that Uncle was a molester and accidentally shot him uncle - to be honest, if only the guardian of this arrogant child broke his leg every minute! ! ! However, he still saved him from the wild boar's mouth and uncle once, and it was his fault.
There is no shortage of heavy plots in the film, but such humor runs through every corner of the film. After Aunty's death, the priest's eulogy said that the two-way bear children of people actually replied with a vegetable, which made me laugh out loud. At the most pressing moment of escape, the appearance of the lunatic SAM made the film soothing. I had to admire the actor, who played the lunatic's confusion mixed with humor in a vivid way, plus the subtlety of finding a way for them to escape. The rhythm and editing make it hard for you not to spray rice. As for the LORD OF RING terrier, are New Zealanders promoting their pride hahaha.
The whole film is handled very well, and there will be echoes in many places, and the whole film is a very complete story. When I first watched it, I also knew that it was inevitable that they would be caught, so the longer and richer their escape journey, the more and more I felt sorry for them - after all, it was an environment that could not resist reality, even if No matter how wonderful it is, it will always return to the arrangement within the system like Sun Wukong. However, the ending was handled very well. After the two were forced to get the corresponding destination, they could take risks together to find their bonds together. It really couldn't be better. Four and a half stars recommended~

It was so kind! ! ! ! The little fat guy is too cute, but why haven’t you been thin after walking in the forest for so long?

It's so healing! ! ! The little fat guy behaved very well, the interaction with the uncle was very interesting, and the whole story set a lot of interesting places. The film quickly turned from family integration to adventure in the forest. Although there were dangers before and after pursuit, the style and performance of the film made you feel relaxed and warm! Love this movie so much!

Hunt for the Wilderpeople quotes

  • Ricky Baker: I ran out of toilet paper, give me some of yours.

    Hec: Eh?

Ricky Baker: I've gotta poop. I need to poop, you need to poop, we all poop.

    Hec: Use a leaf.

Ricky Baker: A leaf? Ugh! I hate you.

    [Ricky walks away]

    Hec: And bury it!

    Ricky Baker: I'll bury you.

  • Hec: You can take him, but I'm staying here.

Hugh: Like hell. People want answers.

    Ron: Yeah, answers.

Hec: Look, we got lost, I got injured, he's fine, it was basically a holiday.

Ricky Baker: Not a real holiday because he made me do stuff.

    Hugh: Like what?

Ricky Baker: Just stuff. He had a sore leg so he made me do things for him. It was hard at first because my hands are so soft, but I got used to it. I didn't really wanna do it, but it was the only way to survive. It wasn't always hard, sometimes I got to do my own thing. He pretty much never joined in with me though. I asked if he wanted to play with me, but he would just make me play with myself.

    Ron: I feel sick.
