After the morality (dogville), religious fantasy (breaking the wave), marriage and family ethics (antichrist), eschatology (melancholia), the hypocrisy of the American bourgeoisie (dancer in the dark), the goal is to target the last object of fetishism: sexuality . But the heroine's partner leaked the sky-high price: the secret ingredient of sex is love.
The heavy metal at the beginning and the end is very powerful, it seems to be a German band? . Sex partners come to analogy with Bach's polyphony ;-), Trier's humor is somewhat nondescript.
