The spiritual world exists.

The ending was so shocking that I cried again. .

As a christian, it's hard for me to say whether there is a before and after life, but what i do believe is that there is truly another world existing that is way beyond ours, a world is too grand to imagine for mankind. We can only see a glimpse of it or even not a bite of it for some people.

The dialogue happened in Ian's lab made by Sofi touched me from the bottom of my heart: (my dictation)
Sofi: I think it's dangerous to play God.
Ian : Sofi, I believe in proof. There is no proof that there's some magical spirit that's invisible living above us, right on top of us.
Sofi: how many senses do worms have?
Ian: they have two: smell and touch. Why?
Sofi: so, they live without any abilities to see or even know that light, right? The notion of light to them is unimaginable?
Ian: yeah.
Sofi: but we humans, we know that light exists, all around them, right on top of them. They cannot sense it, but with a little mutation, they do, right?
Ian: Correct.
Sofi: so, doctor eye, perhaps some humans, rare humans have mutated to have another sense. They experience sense and can see even a world that's around on top of us everywhere, just like light on these worms.

I am deeply touched by these lines, deeply connected. There is a spiritual world besides our actual world, so many magical and invisible living things just floating around us , causing some strange or miracles happened every day.

People should not resist the tiny voice that saying, maybe there is another magical world, or how could I explain those illogical and irrational things. If you ever have had the similar feelings, do not fight it back. Years of “scientific and rational” education have indeed taught us a huge amount of ideas that we take for granted, even without asking why. Now it is the time for us to question it and do research on it. If you have done research and found out it's false, it's not late for you to deny it. Just like another scene in India. the woman said to ian:

"A reporter once asked a religious leader: what would you do if something scientific disproves your religious beliefs?
He said after much thought, I would look at all the papers and take a look at all the researches and try to understand things, and in the end, if it's clear that the scientific evidences disprove my religious beliefs, I would change my beliefs. Ian, what would you do if something religious disproves your scientific beliefs? "

This is what we often say is to research first and then draw conclusions. Too many people have similar experiences and ideas but because traditional concepts inhibit this feeling, why not take this One step to look for the fascinating world?

in the end, there are two songs i'd like to record. the first one is when ian met sofi on the subway, he put his headphone on sofi's ear, the song that reminds me of the bird, which could sense the happiness and sadness at the same time. the second one is at the very end, when the indian little girl refused to enter the elevator, that scene seizes my heart tightly and i believe ian's heart as well. and i was thinking maybe ian took the little girl back to states as their adopted daughter since she had lost both her parents. how sweet and lovely ending it would be! hahahhaha
