I've never been very fond of Bean movies, but this one is an exception. Most of Mr.Bean's films depict a series of unfortunate events that happened to a man with extremely poor IQ and luck, exaggerating the shortcomings of the British. Although the style of "Mr. Bean's Holiday" is still similar to the previous works, the film actually shows a kind of optimism in the face of difficulties and adversity, which best interprets the romantic spirit of Europeans. In addition, the scenery of the French countryside can not but be refreshing, no wonder the Tour de France is the Olympic Games of cycling.
