Lynette & Tom Scavo
Lynette is my all-time favorite of the six women, although some say she's a bit neurotic and a bit cocky. Lynette is a smart and capable woman, and if she is fully committed to her career, she is a true strong woman. However, she was willing to give up her career for the sake of her husband and children, and let her self-respecting husband go out to work hard. She took care of her three and naughty children at home, and later cleaned up the mess of her illegitimate daughter for her husband. Fate was unfair to her and let her go through the torment of cancer, but fate treated her kindly, allowing her most cherished husband and children to survive the hurricane. She overcomes cancer with strength, maintains a broken family with tolerance, runs a humble pizzeria at the mercy of her husband's willfulness, and tolerates her husband's thoughts on garage bands and luxury sports cars. Of course, Lynette's husband Tom also has his advantages, especially when it comes to educating children. It can be said that the Scavo family is anchored to the end because of Lynette and Tom's love for each other and their children.

She has the courage to admit her mistakes (but too many times), and she always forgives those who have hurt her, but she lacks the principle of being a human being, which often leads to putting the cart before the horse, because it is too close. Moved unimportant or irrelevant people and things and hastily gave up their own happiness.

Edie & David
In my opinion, the character of Edie is not like a good family woman, her despair and the despair of several other women are not on the same level. But the fate of this woman deserves sympathy, and I hope that her evaluation can be objective and fair.
Edie is a blond beauty with a good figure, it must be admitted. She gives the impression of being slutty, and seems to only value sex and not responsibility. If she hadn't introduced her ex-husband and son, I always thought that she would not be able to marry or that she would not be able to marry at all.

Edie finally got married again, thinking that she would meet a man who truly loves her and cherishes her family, but she doesn't know that she is tricked by God and becomes a tool for others to take revenge. The man she was going to entrust her whole life with could have been a mature and sophisticated husband, who brought her a moment of dignity and stability, but it was because of the plan. Poor simple-minded Edie ends up being the victim, a tragic end.
The fate of Edie seems to tell us that it is important to be a serious woman, if you still want to have a normal happy home.
Katherine & Mike
Katherine is the victim of a violent marriage, and Mike is a good man abandoned by a weak woman. The combination of these two people is completely beyond the imagination of the audience, but the unreasonable does not necessarily need to be criticized.
Katherine is similar to Bree in character, capable and good-looking. Because of her ex-husband's ravages, she has become stronger. She is able to find a way out for the happiness of herself and her daughter, but she is so miserable that she is single and lonely. Mike, who left Susan, has nothing to show off except his kind nature and man's appearance, but his modest and measured character has won him new opportunities. Mike and Katherine can come together, completely unintentionally. Make up for two good people.
People who have experienced failed marriages should learn to cherish them. God is willing to give good people a chance. The combination of Mike and Katherine seems to want us to understand this.
After reading "Desperate Housewives" (if it is no longer updated), I didn't feel hopeless, but I learned a lot from the lives of the housewives.
