What I am engaged in is the practice and research of righteousness. I often think about a problem. In the midst of the sinful depravity of human nature, I see that the hand of righteousness holds up this fallen and perverted world. We still have opportunities when we live.
The protagonist originally had a happy and happy family. The politicians said that evil forces needed to be eliminated, so he went into battle, left his hometown, and went to the other side of the earth to fight a war that was said to be just. I have never wanted to understand, what exactly is Augustine's view of a just war? But I simply believe that it should not be a flesh-and-blood battle in the real world. As this film reflects, the harm and protection of the human soul is truly real.
The heroes and heroines agree with each other on the same psychological basis. They are all fallen into the world, one is wounded by the conspiracy of a politician, the other is wounded by the brutality of the coach, and the helplessness and sadness of the small person. Although Joseph is proficient in fighting, he is in essence. He was hurt. The weak nun has a kind of love and patience, compassion and kindness, which is a symbol of true strength. He is extremely eager in his heart. He is eager to be such a person who can help others.
He avenged Isabel. He seemed to be very powerful, but he still fell into the same logical paradox as a politician. He avenged evil for evil, and he was still an evil instrument. He tried hard to get rid of the evil bondage, including returning the house owner’s bank deposits and reporting the underworld group, but he could not get rid of the accusations of the evil forces in his heart: you do this, it will not help you, you are still a bad person, and your life is like a summer flower. His salvation is like a firework, beautiful but illusory.
The nun is gone, her pain will always haunt her, and her short love will brighten her tragic life.
Two people who pity each other with the same disease witness the despair of people and reflect the truth of the world. As far as the truth about people and the world is concerned, Western films have reached a height that Chinese directors can't match. Of course, there are exceptions to Chinese directors who have godly beliefs.
But Western films, like Western modernization, stop in mid-air and can surpass the average level of understanding of human nature, but they can't hang in mid-air. Its tragedy is nihilistic and skeptical, not in the sense of truth.
Salvation means ascending. This film has come down, but it hasn't risen. Its narrative can touch us the same pain, but it cannot give the created people the comfort of faith, hope and love.
