Most Beautiful Movie of the Year

Rooney Mara is an amazing actress. At the age of twenty-nine, playing a nineteen-year-old girl is more difficult than Cate Blanchett's almost natural performance. In terms of appearance, she is somewhat similar to Audrey Hepburn in appearance and even body. However, compared with the latter who is more suitable for comedy films, her performance is much slender and fuller, and every expression and movement is frozen. Intriguing. The large number of close-ups used by the director is not a test but an icing on the cake for her and Kate's acting skills.

The photography of this film is so beautiful, the close-up of the two staring at each other is unforgettable, and the elopement part even has a Christmas atmosphere, which is brighter than all the road films I have seen; the soundtrack is so beautiful, I remember the opening harp. It grabbed my ears; the costume design is too beautiful, and it is a very important expression language used in this film, it is definitely worth a statue; the erotic part, this is the first kiss scene I've watched, which is more disturbing than the bed scene fanciful movie.

I can't say how much Carroll will win at next year's Oscars in the US and UK, but I'm sure it will be great at the Japanese Olympics the following year. Although the subject matter is not conservative, such a classic, elegant and slender film will suit the appetite of Japanese audiences.
