A collection of sci-fi animated shorts with very mobile armor. Different short films focus on different points, hard and soft sci-fi, futuristic fantasy, philosophical issues, meaning of life and death, social issues, racism, life forms and more. Very rich and wonderful. And the overall quality of the work is not bad, but it is still a high judgment. According to personal taste evaluation:
I prefer "Beyond The Aquila Rift" and "Zima Blue", which are very philosophical. The former has a philosophical myth similar to The Matrix, where you choose to wake up or continue your sweet dreams. The latter explores the true meaning of life, with blue prints and swimming pools reminiscent of David Hockney's style.
"Three Robots" is more lighthearted and funny. I satirized that human beings would be killed by themselves in the end.
"Secret War" is a very Russian (former Soviet Union) style CG animation. The rhythm is good, and the atmosphere is well portrayed. With a story about fighting ghouls, I think I still want to talk about patriotism and anti-war. In the end it was a little touching.
"When the Yogurt Took Over", "Ice Age", "Fish Night", "Alternate Histories" are open-minded, a bit like "Rick and morty", a bit mean it.
"Lucky 13 Lucky 13", "Shape-Shifters", and "Sucker of Souls" are very typical American drama movie styles, and it is conceivable to make these two live-action American commercial films.
Sonnie's Edge's style is reminiscent of Blade Runner, and The Witness's cycle is reminiscent of Horror Cruises, but both are a bit weaker by comparison.
"King Kong Farmer Suits" is also a story that has been used a lot, and it is quite satisfactory. The style of painting will be reminiscent of the game "Clash of Clans" (compare the logo characters of the game with the male protagonist of the show, lol). But in the last scene, the camera is zoomed out, overlooking the whole earth, and the finishing touch, thinking that the story is over, but it is actually the beginning.
"Blindspot" is relatively mediocre, so the bridge section of the carjacking should not be used too much. Not to mention, the latest season of the American comic "RWBY" also has this bridge. "The Dump" is also relatively mediocre, and it feels like there is no bright spot.
"Happy Hunting" Chinese style + steampunk soft sci-fi theme, "Alita" has a sense of sight. But the core feeling I want to express is not prominent.
I don't like "Helping Hand" the most, and actually draw the stalk of astronauts to save themselves by throwing their hands to express horror. Inappropriate and uncomfortable.
