At the time, I didn't care about the production or anything, it was about the plot. Attractive is love. The first time I came into contact with foreign animation was when I was 10 years old. At that time, it can be said that I have watched domestic animation for a long time. At that time, it was also to practice English, and my mother forced to watch it. For example, "Mickey Mouse" and "The Lion King". At that time, I really had no interest in English at all, so I put it aside to catch the dust and didn't understand anything. Later, after graduating from junior high school, I fell in love with Disney animation. At that time, I had already lost interest in domestic films, and even disappointed with those vulgar domestic works. Because DreamWorks' "Kung Fu Panda" completely subverted my animation concept. I also gradually became obsessed with animation production, so I had to check the information myself to figure it out. I first observed the difference between East and West animations. Let's talk about the special effects first, why the characters in "Frozen" are so realistic, why adults snoring when watching "Joyful" with their children in the cinema, and watching "Pocahontas" will not hurt people's snoring. Let's just say, Chinese movies are for children, Disney is for the general public of all ages. What is it that attracts the masses to American animation? Human face capture technology. Take the recently released "Pocahontas" as an example, let's talk about the characters' expressions first. When people go down the stairs, their eyes will reflexively glance at the stairs. Let's talk about the hair, the rhythm and rhythm when it is blown by the wind, and let's talk about the demeanor. When tears are shed, the tears slowly slide from the corners of the eyes to the cheeks. . . Okay, no more talking. All of this is really done with computer synthesis technology, but it has to be performed by a real person first, so the voice actors in the United States are not so easy to do. The voice should be in place, and the posture should be in place. As for the plot, let's not talk about it, the maturity of the script determines the quality, standard and box office of the animation. . . The above is just the basics. Let’s not talk about other processes. The collection, characterization, art, and music production will take the director and related characters more than 10 years of time and effort to complete. It's self-evident that a good film takes a lot of hard work. Recently, I heard about a new form of animation - stop motion animation. Unexpectedly, the production of this type of animation is even more complicated and detailed than the animation mentioned above. The earliest stop-motion animations only saw a few short films, all of which were rough made of plasticine. When I watched "Ghost Rider", my eyes were too tired and I didn't want to watch any more. Fortunately, it was a short film. . . I've seen a few similar animated shorts later. But not in my mind. In November this year, I stumbled across a film of "Zombie Bride" and "Frankenstein" directed by my idol Tim Burton on the Internet. Both films are stop-motion animations, produced and distributed by Warner Bros. and Disney, respectively. Especially the latter is black and white. It reminded me of the disgusting stop-motion animations I've seen before, and the unreality flooded my mind again. Obsessed and loving the movie, I still watched it hard, and the result was not so bad, at least a lot better than what I saw before. It was Professor Perls' mouth that somehow looked like an unsightly image of a broken spring. So far, the stop motion animation I know and watched except the last two. It's "The Legend of Magic Strings". Every frame is done so meticulously, and the details displayed are undoubtedly the most perfect. Demeanor, movement, picking up a piece of paper and not picking it up properly, you can see the subtle bending movements. The sad look and the joy-to-sad look almost comparable to Disney. It seems that Focus and the Laika Animation Studios have really put in a lot of work. What impresses me the most is the production process of the big skeleton in the film like the Hulk. In the last easter egg in the film, it was revealed that the three or four staff members really worked hard. First, they assembled the prototype robot, then used the blue board to capture the facial special effects, and finally synthesized the stop-motion animation. These processes took the production staff three years, so the entire film took nine years to make and presented to the audience. A movie worth watching in theaters, even if it's already available online in HD. "The Return of the Great Sage of Journey to the West", although the concept and special effects have been improved to a certain extent, why can't a domestic cartoon that many people give up halfway, why can't they focus on how to make a good plot concept? Cartoons, the money spent on so-called quality, is a waste.
