The blade is hidden under the ice

What happened is a trivial matter. The story of the incident is trapped in a small house, and the characters in the incident are no more than two couples.
However, this lens records four complete souls, and the impact of the soul is not small. Such a small lens really can't bear it, and the overwhelming impact bursts under the life-like lens.
I really love this part of the show, everyone is so good. But Jodie Foster is the best, as if even the soul is acting, watching her flushing into the toilet in the walking scene, her hair feels like her hair is exploding. Really, it's just a back view. This kind of shocking force that doesn't want to kill is enough to make too many actors feel ashamed and want to commit suicide.
Alas, the script is also god. This is the best script I've ever seen. Through bland communication, there is no ups and downs in the plot, trapped in a narrow space, getting few auxiliary tools, and not too boring. With so many restrictions, it is amazing to be able to fully present the souls and thoughts of four people, and to allow people to conduct extended analysis on them to make their debut. This script is worthy of the crown on the altar of God.

The scene is single but there are few distractions, the rhythm is good, and the duration of about 80 minutes is just right

This kind of movie that relies entirely on acting skills is actually the most difficult to grasp, and it is easy to perform. The most surprising of the four should be Christopher. The emotional outbursts and forbearance are meticulous and perfectly presented. On the contrary, Judy has acted, and from her point of view, it has become a stage play. But watching the four dramas is definitely exciting and satisfying.

Carnage quotes

  • Alan Cowan: Penelope, I believe in the god of carnage. The god whose rule's been unchallenged since time immemorial.

  • Nancy Cowan: I've got a John Wayne idea of manhood, too. What is it he had? A Colt .45. Something that empties a room. Any man that doesn't have those loner vibes just doesn't come off as having any substance.
