poor ramses, Reivew on The Prince of Egypt

Moved by a sentence about Moses in "Rebel", I came to watch this animation. It's been a long time since I watched a two-dimensional animation. It's quite friendly, and the overall style of the film is also very atmospheric. But no wonder imdb only gave 6.8, the level of storytelling in this film is really average. Speaking of such a well-known religious myth, the book is very weak. After watching the whole film, I don't feel how great Moses is at all. The film's handling of Moses' transformation is rather abrupt and lacks convincing. When I read the second half, I felt that God was too cruel, but he killed so many people in order to save the Hebrews. Ramses is so pitiful. He has always regarded Moses as his brother. He never expected that he would come back to be his enemy and treat himself so miserably. I don't know if the arrangement at the end of Ramses is a sign of pity for him, or it may be intentional to keep him to suffer.
I thought that Ralph Fiennes dubbed Moses, but after listening for a while at the beginning, I realized that it was wrong. After a search on the Internet, I found out that Ralph played Ramses, and Fang Kimmer played the hero Moses - just like his acting, The voice is also very flat, there is no feeling. But Ralph deserves it well, which makes Ramses even more sympathetic to me. Michelle Feffer's voice is also pretty good, and the theme song of the film she sings with the silly big sister Sandra Bullock is really good - When You Believe, the official theme song is by Whitney Houston and Maria Kelly sang, my God, this lineup, no wonder it won an Oscar. In fact, the overall music of this film is very good, very atmospheric, and it was nominated for an Oscar. The composer turned out to be Hans Zimmer, the composer of "Black Hawk Down". I admire it!
The dubbing and singing lineup of this film was definitely super strong at the time, which reminded me of the "Ponyo on the Cliff" which I am very much and especially looking forward to. The English version of the dubbing lineup is super strong, Cate Blanchett Te, Matt Damon, Liam Neeson, Tina Fey, the North American release has to wait until August, so anxious~~
