I think the belief here is not just religious belief, but also belief in oneself, belief in fairness and justice, belief in resisting all oppression, and determination to overcome all difficulties.
As long as you believe in it, miracles can happen.
I think this should be the biggest moral of the film, and it is also the biggest gain for me to watch the film.
However, the film has some flaws. I feel that the human effort is not enough. It seems that God has taken care of all the efforts. As long as there is difficulty, there will be God. This is absolutely impossible in real life. In fact, God helps those who help themselves. Only when you make enough effort will God give you care at the right time. Or even without God's favor, miracles will happen one day. I don't think the film does a good enough job of it. Or maybe this story from the Bible is slightly flawed in its conception. God will not appear for no reason, nor can God replace human efforts.
