"Walking in the Clouds"

This is a biographical film that mainly describes Philip's tightrope walk and the miracle of walking the tightrope between the twin towers. I don't want to talk about what the protagonist is in real life, I just talk about my feelings about this movie.

When I watched the "The Tightrope Walker" documentary, I learned that Philip is an ungrateful little guy, and I don't like this guy, no matter how spectacular what he does. So, don't talk about this person in this film, or look at the person in reality separately from the person in the film.

First of all, why is there such a strange dream? Walking a tightrope over a hundred-story building? It feels like there's something wrong with the nerves. A normal person would never have thought of doing such a thing. If you don't say anything strange, it's really terrible. If there is a little mistake, it will really be shattered when you fall from the sky. It doesn't matter if you die, if you fall and hit others, wouldn't it hurt others? But if Philip could take this into account, this feat would not have happened. Therefore, persistent dreams are more or less selfish, and in order to achieve what you love in your heart, it may not be good for your family and friends. It's okay to die, but think about what family and friends will suffer. This pain will always accompany them in their future lives. Can we still be so firm in chasing our dreams? But when I want to do something, I don't think about it at all, or it's useless to think about it, because the inner cry is very clear, and it is torture for me not to go in that direction. There must be someone who has to compromise, either himself or someone else.

We all think this dream is a little strange, but think about it, we can all dream of becoming a scientist, an astronaut, or a lifelong goal of extreme sports. Why not dream of walking a tightrope? I remembered an episode in the anime "Assassin Wu Liuqi". It tells that there is a man on Chicken Island who likes to collect underwear. The director of the Women's Federation wants to eliminate him, but Liu Qi finally stood up to defend his hobby. The underwear collected by this man Don't steal or steal, you just like it, what's wrong with it? Some people like to collect stamps, some people like to collect famous paintings and antiques, so what's wrong with collecting underwear? Shouldn't they be treated equally? What's wrong with walking a tightrope in dreams?

I don't know how this dream came about. I don't have a dream, and I don't know much about this thing, but since other people like to love, and it's not an unreasonable thing, there's no need to feel so unreasonable.

There is a saying: "When you know where you are going, the whole world will make way for you". It is definitely not easy to build a tightrope between the twin towers. Although there are many ups and downs, it is generally smooth. After seeing Philip's foot being pierced by a nail, I thought it was a very unwise choice to continue, but he insisted on going his own way. Everyone felt that there was no need to rush so quickly, and he would do this when he was ready, but he was like a stunned man, and he had to do it at the time he planned. Why not wait any longer? Sooner or later, wouldn't it be better to wait a few more days for the feet to recover and give yourself more time to prepare? Not sure what he was thinking. He said that because the Twin Towers are about to be built, it will be very difficult to get in there, and the weather will be getting colder, and the climate will be unfavorable for tightrope walking, which sounds reasonable. But I always thought that a few days later should not be a big problem, but maybe there is no difference between a few days later and a few days earlier.

I'm actually quite moved by all the sacrifices his friend made for him, but the more I feel that his friend attaches great importance to love and righteousness, the more injustice he is, there is nothing ruthless or righteous! At that time, he had to train himself to walk a tightrope, and his friends helped him choose a place, ride a tightrope, and train with him. This was their youth, a youth when a group of people could work hard for one's dream, but it's a pity that this person is really ungrateful. And his girlfriend, who has always been with him and encouraged him. The most rare thing is that she has been waiting by his side to support him and understand everything he does. This rare respect and understanding of affection, he still lived up to it after all.

The movie itself is really good, but I just don't like Philip, a character I despise, so I have nothing good to say about him. I just hope that he will really wake up when he looks back on everything in the past many years later.
