To all the great lunatics in this world

When I watched the movie for the first time, I was pulled away by force. The theater was very cold, my nose was stuffy, I was shivering, and I watched the whole show with a lot of energy. I was not impressed. I just thought that the tightrope walk in the sky was really good. Flowing clouds and water, a lot of blank, let the audience feel everything in the sky. After that, I encountered a series of troubles at work, and I always think of "Walking in the Clouds", the crazy and plain temperament. So during Chinese New Year, the day before I went to Turkey, I ran to the first row of the theater alone and watched it again. After reading it, the whole person calmed down, packed up and started traveling.

In the first half of the film, the director used a lot of techniques to create various French flavors, which felt a bit too dazzling and pretentious. But in the second half, it was really good. When walking the tightrope at the top of the Twin Towers, there was no thrilling, no bumps and turns, and the entire segment was completed in one go. Especially when he stepped on the tightrope for the second time, the state of harmony between man and nature is a master who controls everything with ease. The steel wire, the twin towers, and the sky are all part of his body, and he can sway freely on his stage. And a few details were handled very well, the betrayal of the companion and the foot injury, the director did not pay much attention, and it can be said that the inadvertent segment was finished. The reason why a master is a master is not that he can continue to persevere in his dreams despite the betrayal of his companions and a foot injury, but that these things are never in his heart.

The director's grasp of the entire film structure is outstanding, and the picture can be almost perfect. But making such a biography, with such a positive and optimistic style, what we see is not a lunatic, but a superman.

What does a real lunatic look like? Who is willing to walk a tightrope to the top of the world in ten years?

All the characters in the movie said: Philip, you are a lunatic. But apart from what he did, Jonghet's performance and script arrangement were not crazy at all. A lunatic is an extremist, definitely not a sunshine boy. Perseverance and paranoia about something is terrifying and respectable. Basically, I struggled to move forward in a mental breakdown every day, full of confidence and more desperate than everyone. One step forward is the abyss, one step back is the cliff. Every day on the wire is trembling, walking on thin ice. This kind of complex human nature, the director did not film well, but did not want to reflect it at all.

Let's see what's going on in reality:
1. Philip failed once before he succeeded, and the screenwriter chose to skip this part completely;
2. Philip's girlfriend did not participate in the first attempt, and Philip brought her after his first failure;
3. Philip's spirit The state is close to collapse, and his girlfriend describes it as an impossible task to appease him;
4. After success, before reuniting with his girlfriend, he had sex with one of the female admirers downstairs

That lunatic, director, please Give him back to us.

[Salute to those crazy guys. They are mavericks, they are unruly, they cause trouble, they don't fit in, they see things differently, they don't like to stick to the rules, and they don't want to settle for the status quo. You can praise them, quote them, oppose them, question them, praise or denigrate them, but you can't just ignore them. They may be lunatics in the eyes of others, but they are geniuses in our eyes. Because only people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world can really change the world. 】
