enjoy the moment

The movie "Into the Wilderness": When the mother who depends on each other is alive, the difference in outlook on life brings frequent debates. She says love, you don't believe it, until she loses it, you realize that the sky is falling and life has lost its meaning. Drug addiction, promiscuity, abortion, divorce... The practice of extreme self-abuse just wants to abandon the current self that I also hate! The words of her deceased mother "Go to find yourself and do the best thing." So she chose to hike in the wilderness, without any outdoor experience, without any friends, and went on the road bravely alone. Along the way, she thought about giving up countless times, and encountered danger many times (from both humans and animals), but she persevered. She used the torture of the body, with the help of the embrace of nature, to redeem herself, to regenerate herself, and finally understood the life of her mother when she was alive. The outlook on life, I understand what my mother wants to teach her, that is "learning to love". Although life is not smooth and people are unkind, you must find the point worthy of your love: the father is alcoholic and domestic violence, but the mother thanks him for bringing two lovely children; the family is poor and poor, but the mother still hums Singing and playful; schoolwork is stressful and tiring, but my mother is willing to make time to cook a meal for my brother; cancer has spread in the late stage, but my mother still laughs about her dreams and offers eye masks... Many of the mother's practices are at the end of the hike, and the daughter understands and comprehends , and lived the life her mother wanted her to live! Learn to love, learn to live, and learn to choose, because "the sun rises and sets every day, since it is difficult to choose, then enjoy the beauty of the moment!" (the mother's line in the movie, my favorite line)

  • Cheryl: [voiceover] What if I forgive myself? What if I was sorry? But if I could go back in time, I wouldn't do a single thing differently. What if I wanted to sleep with every single one of those men? What if heroin taught me something? What if all those things I did were the things that got me here? What if I was never redeemed? What if I already was?
