I watched "The Mule"

Tonight saw another work "The Mule" directed and starred by Clint Eastwood, who is almost 90 years old. The film tells the story of an old man returning to his family. "Mule" has a semantic pun. On the one hand, it means that he helps drug dealers deliver drugs, and on the other hand, it alludes to his stubbornness and maverick, even in the face of family.

Clint Eastwood did not portray a holy and perfect image. Much of what he expounded was part of America. For example, racial discrimination, the infringement of public power on individuals, the legitimacy of personal enjoyment, and so on. As a well-known right-wing director, he has always been incredibly candid.

The filming is very delicate, the logic is smooth, and it is done in one go. The choice between living independently and returning to the family needs to be weighed in specific scenarios. Even if Neruda has "goed through the vicissitudes of life", it is not necessarily a final word. The interference of the environment provides the possibility of another life all the time.

A lot of times, I don't know which concepts are absolutely correct when it comes to the important topic of "family". But I can basically tell which concepts are absolutely not suitable for me, nor are they suitable for this era. A few days ago, chatting with a friend, I also mentioned that different values need to be considered in a specific context in order to taste their rationality. There are many crazy people in this world, but very few stupid people. Each person's thoughts, actions, in his position, are the only choice. Perhaps, it is precisely the complicated interpretation that makes us feel that life is very rich.

Black, white, red, and green, no matter how conspicuous they are, are just a one-way expression, not to be criticized or corrected, let alone to reflect on individuals as individuals. Fairness, justice, responsibility, and honor are all rich in connotations and need to be carefully screened and compared on both sides of the coin. Any idea or slogan that can be "said in one word" is mostly unbelievable.

Deep films provide so many opportunities for us to be close to life in our lives and have the opportunity to turn to ourselves. Thanks to director Clint Eastwood.
