What do you regret when you are old?

Well acted, well directed, that's great! After watching the film for more than half a year, I still remember bits and pieces of the film when I saw the poster. I don't know how many like me, lamenting that the old man can still work hard for his career at the age of 88; he is still so wonderful and beautiful.

There is a Chinese saying that old age comes with bitterness, which is true suffering. This may be Mule's greatest experience. After living for a lifetime, everything was destroyed by the Internet. Resentful family members, like their own pickup trucks that are close to being scrapped, have no money for a gift in their pockets. When I was young, there were times when I was fucked, why is it so hard to be a good person when I get old? Everything seems to be fixable with money, so why not?

Elderly crime has always been a topic in many countries. For example, in Japan, which has the lowest crime rate in the world, the crime rate of the elderly is extremely high. Why? Because of dignity, the dignity of living and living well. It is the first time for everyone. When life comes to the end, how to fill up so many unwillingness and regrets? Well, either take them to the grave or let it go.

At the end of the movie, the old man did not deny that he admitted all the crimes in court; he was embraced by his family. I think so be it!

The Mule quotes

  • Earl Stone: Are you sure you're Mexican? You're acting like you're under The Fuhrer or something.

  • Earl Stone: You're right. I thought it was more important to be somebody out there than the damn failure I was here at my own home.
