You and I (no matter what age you are in) will suddenly become numb to the environment you are in. Fixed jobs, regular lives, constant faces, and life crises will provoke us from time to time and become numb every day. A day's life has wrinkled a pool of spring water.
Ed is full of shadows in our lives. Just like the lawyer said, how could he kill people? He is a civilized man and a barber. Silent and forbearing, every mental thought was written in his forehead and eyes, and it disappeared with a puff of smoke.
The most memorable part of the film is that he was married in two weeks during the monologue that he met his wife. He asked his wife if you don’t want to know me more. The wife said, would it be better to know more? At the beginning of the film, Ed feels that his wife is not loyal to God. A very ironic stroke.
The best way is that the Coen brothers will always let every character have his retribution. In "Thunder in the Ground", the heroine lost her arm for revenge and never married. In the film, Ed also finally sentenced to death for murder, even though he did not kill the fat boss. The wife committed suicide by hanging herself for stealing and making false accounts. The fat boss betrayed his faith, and the wife boss killed the fat boss. In the ending, everyone has their own judgment and destiny.
Always have pure and peaceful music to bring out the most bizarre life. After his wife's death, Ed continued his dead-water life, no matter how pitiful other people were, or thought he could not accept it, he continued to walk as if he had forgotten that he was the real murderer. The narration and music were so emotional that they touched the soul everywhere.
