Watching today's most powerful actors and actresses fight for nearly 10 minutes on the screen, you come and go, fight each other, it is a great pleasure! While enjoying it, you don't know which side to stand on? Is it the determined Streep, or the incredible Hoffman? Even Adams, who was the closest to them and who was pure, kind and selfless, went from doubting to believing and was still indecisive in the end... Davis, the client's mother who really had the right to roar, chose to remain silent. She didn't care about the truth... So at the end of the film, We didn't give us the truth. After some concessions, everyone got their own way and settled down.

Reports indicate that John Patrick Shanley was writing the script during the U.S.-Iraq war, when the U.S. launched an all-out war over allegations that Iraq had (suspected) weapons of mass destruction.

Doubt what you doubt, believe in what you believe! There is no standard, there is no right or wrong, just different positions and different concepts! Cao Cao would rather kill a thousand by mistake and not let one go, because of his position and values, he thinks that no one can be trusted -- anyone who doubts can do it, and any method can be used!

Doubt quotes

  • Sister Aloysius Beauvier: This will not do.

Mrs. Miller: It's just until June!

Sister Aloysius Beauvier: [sternly] I'll throw your son out of this school!

Mrs. Miller: [angrily] And why would you do that if it didn't start with him?

  • [Father Flynn enters Sister Aloysius' room, looking very nervous]

Father Brendan Flynn: [nervously] May I come in?

Sister Aloysius Beauvier: [not looking at him] A third party would be required.

Father Brendan Flynn: Look, what was Donald's mother doing here?

Sister Aloysius Beauvier: [looking at him] We were having a chat.

    Father Brendan Flynn: About what?

Sister Aloysius Beauvier: [slowly approaches him] A third party would truly be required!

Father Brendan Flynn: [entering the room] No sister, no third party. Me and you are due for a talk, you have to stop this campaign against me!
