Kindness is also a choice

Five stars, after watching this film, I want to clap my hands and say bravo. The actors in the lines and shots are all amazing.

The resources I found at station B, there are barrages complimenting that this is the history of eve's struggle. Of course, no comment on personal opinions. Life is a myriad of multiple-choice questions, and there is no turning back, like a tree branch. Go all the way to choose, and finally come to that ending. Eve made her choice. What she wanted was success, so she chose to deceive, betray, and lie. She had the means, strength and ambition, and she got her success. Must be convinced, in the last scene her little fan phobe puts on eve's clothes and fantasizes bowing in front of the mirror - there are thousands of eves in the world, a story all about eve, all about us.

Then I want to talk about Margot. It is said that the film was almost a grand slam (to be verified), and it was short of the best actress, because the actors of Bette Davis and Eve were both competing for the heroine, and there were too many votes. I only recognize Bette Davis as the main character, okay? The pungent self-willedness can be seen in her eyes, the drunken eyes and the smoking gesture. There are also good lines, arguing with the screenwriter and Bill's husband in the theater, and the female monologue in the car is definitely a classic. In contrast, the male characters in this film are a little bleak, after all, it is a woman's play. I don't think Margot is a theater who was squeezed out of Fenghua's old age. The queen must be tired of playing with the scenery and leave, smoking a cigarette and wearing a mink coat with disdain. Eve tried her best to play the role she wanted, but she finally threw it out because Margot wanted to enjoy the female profession as a wife. The girlfriend laughed, wondering if Eve would vomit blood in anger.

The last 24-year-old Marilyn Monroe is really beautiful, although I love the queen more than the stunner.

All About Eve quotes

  • Lloyd Richards: Karen, let me tell you about Eve. She's got everything - a born actress. Sensitive, understanding, young, exciting, vibrant...

Karen: Don't run out of adjectives, dear.

  • Karen: [narrating] Newton, they say, thought of gravity by getting hit on the head by an apple. And the man who invented the steam-engine, he was watching a teakettle. But not me. My big idea came to me just sitting on a couch. That boot in the rear to Margo. Heaven knows, she had one coming. From me, from Lloyd, from Eve, Bill, Max and so on. We'd all felt those size fives of hers often enough. But how? The answer was buzzing around me like a fly. I had it. But I let it go. Screaming and calling names is one thing, but this could mean...

Karen: [continues] Why not? "Why," I said to myself, "not?" It would all seem perfectly legitimate. And only two people in the world would know. Also, the boot would land where it would do the most good for all concerned. After all, it was no more than a harmless joke which Margo herself would be the first to enjoy. And no reason why she shouldn't be told about it... in time.

Karen: [on the phone, calling Eve to let her in on her little "joke"] Hello. Will you please call Miss Eve Harrington to the phone?
