Whitney Houston's completely true performance, so that the film has a lot of color. And Kevin Costner, who plays the bodyguard, has conquered thousands of fans with his sternness as a mature man. The male and female protagonists of the film are two main lines that are shaped independently and intertwined with each other. Retired agent Frank is experienced and skilled, and has never missed a mission in various tasks; Mellon is a popular singer loved by fans and is on the way to the peak of his career. Frank is taciturn, calm and alert; Mellen is passionate and emotional. Frank looks ruthless but is affectionate; Mellon looks arrogant but is actually weak. The character settings in the film push the characteristics of the two genders of human beings to the extreme, the charm of men and women, the interweaving of safety and fear, make the atmosphere of the story exciting. Fear relies on a sense of security, and the film climaxes when the killer acts at the awards ceremony, at which point the fear reaches its peak, and Frank, who she relies on, uses his body to block the bullet. The director is extremely smart and unabashed to express the most primitive and fundamental symbols and elements of the relationship between men and women in the most modern and thrilling way, creating a love classic in film history. What's more worth mentioning is that Whitney's music runs through the whole play, giving the finishing touch to the whole movie, especially "I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU" pushes all these down to the climax.
