After several deaths, the murderer was finally found, but Carter died to save him. She suddenly woke up: If I don't reset this day, he's gone forever. To break the cycle of death, she chose Carter, the treasure boy. If I finally make it through this day somehow, I'm gonna have his babies.
And the final ending is also the climax of the whole film. The murderer who killed himself is the murderer and finds out that he wakes up or an infinite loop. The heroine's sudden IQ explosion echoes the poster, making people addicted. The most ingenious thing is the handling of the ending, which makes people wonder at the last moment whether the heroine has broken the endless cycle.
