This is a musical film composed of 33 classic Beatles songs. It tells a love story that took place in the 1960s and was deeply influenced by anti-war protests, spiritual aspirations and rock music. Jude (Jim Sturgess played by Jim Sturgess) is a shipyard worker from Liverpool. He came to Princeton in the United States alone to find his father, and got acquainted with Marx (Joe Anderson played by Joe Anderson) who was about to drop out of school. His beautiful sister Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood). Marx and Lucy fell in love, they came to New York, met the rock singer Sandy (Dana Fuchs), and then met the black guitarist Jojo (Martin Luther Martin Luther) and female Gay Prudence (Mei Tianyue TV Carpio), their lives have changed with the turbulent years.
The names of the people in this film all come from the classic songs of the Beatles.
