"Milk and Chocolate", directed by Matthew Cassowitz, the film highlights the struggle between races and beliefs. It doesn't matter whether you are a white man like milk or a black man like chocolate, as long as you have friendship in your heart, even if there is still conflict, you will end up in the same direction and move forward in the end.

But between a Jewish guy and a black man, it seems a bit too rigid to have a triangular relationship with a female classmate, but this is a movie, a movie is the art of condensing light and shadow, and everything in the world can only be twisted together through coincidence. What's more, many countries in Europe and America, such as France, are originally countries with relatively good racial integration. Just saying that it would be better if it was ironed naturally.

Seeing, losing, possessing, longing, all these things are necessary for human beings, and it is really not easy to bridge the differences between races once and for all, or it is more difficult than ascending to the sky, not just a joke What can be taken with one stroke can only be said and cherished.

"Stickman", I only wanted to watch it because of Nicolas Cage. I didn't expect it to be a very interesting film. Roy, who has an obsessive-compulsive disorder, has always been engaged in liar activities. Just when he was preparing to wash his hands in a golden pot, He was afraid of the sudden illness of the light. The psychiatrist said that he had a fourteen-year-old daughter who fell from the sky. When he was in doubt, the daughter came to him like an angel, bringing him joy and anxiety.

He was afraid that his daughter would be hurt together with him. In this world, the only thing that cannot be lost is her daughter, and everything else can be wasted. The daughter discovered many of his secrets, such as a lot of money and a pistol hidden in the dog's head, and the money he kept in a bank safe.

Everything makes her daughter excited, novel and satisfied, and it also brings him happiness like heaven. Later, his collaborator and good partner Frank La came to a rare big business. In a hurry, he let his daughter accompany him, and her daughter also played a role. He didn't expect the money to be transferred, but it was discovered. Although he escaped by luck, he was afraid. He was afraid that his daughter would be implicated, so he asked her not to call him and stay at her mother's house.

But there was something strange. The deceived took Frank who was beaten at his house and waited for him and his daughter. An accident happened. He asked Frank to rush to a hotel with his daughter to wait. He came to deal with the deceived who was accidentally injured by his daughter, and was ready to take on everything. He returned to the house, not expecting the wounded to give him a blow.

Unexpectedly, when he woke up, it was the face of the detective. He secretly gave the psychiatrist the password for his safe and asked him to give it to his daughter. He was at ease. When he wakes up the next day, he finds that the detective has gone missing except for a letter from Frank. He knew it was all a scam. He went to open the safe, and it was empty, with only a small penny, and it was Frank's conscience. He came to his girlfriend whom he hadn't seen for more than ten years. She said that she had no daughter at all, and that she only blamed his negligence at the time. He got it, the truth came out. For him, the world has Angela, but no real angels. It is not so much that the liar lost to the real liar, it is better to say that Angela awakened his frozen true feelings, so there is nothing to say.

Thinking about it, the lost truth is far more important than the money, but he has to cheer up. He married the always smiling female cashier at the supermarket. He found a job selling decorations in a warehouse supermarket, but he didn't expect to meet his "daughter" who had changed his appearance. He told his embarrassed "daughter" that he looked at things from a different angle now than before. The so-called difference is to forgive her - the girl whose former daughter brought him joy. He watched her drive away in the car. She waved to him and called out "Dad". He smiled. Yes, apart from facing life with a smile, the meaning of life is impossible to write. He can also go back to a quiet and warm home, because that beautiful wife is pregnant, maybe he wants to have a daughter that really belongs to him.

Matchstick Men quotes

  • Roy: [while looking for his pills] Pygmies!

  • Frank Mercer: [narration from Frank's letter to Roy] Dear Roy, You're probably pretty upset. I don't blame you. You taught me most of what I know, so I suppose I owe you better than this. But you always told me if I ever got a shot at a big score, I should take it. And that's what I did. Sorry about the sap on the head, by the way, and for everything else. You always said guys like us can't afford to have regrets about what we do. That's gonna be a little harder for me, but I'll manage. If it makes any difference, you're the best I ever saw. I'd never find a better partner, and now I won't have to. I love you, man. Frank. P.S. Enjoy the gift.
