Straight male cancer terminal YY

Revisiting "Stickman" after ten years, taking the role of his ex-wife, Roy is a complete scumbag. When he was young, he walked away so irresponsibly. After more than ten years, he had a successful career, but he always felt guilty, so that he suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder. The child who was irresponsible back then suddenly appeared and gave him a new life. He had a chance to pass, but everything was a well-planned scam, so the accumulation of more than ten years was wiped out, but he lost the sangyu in the east.

I didn't get married ten years ago, and what I saw was the prodigal son's turn back. Looking at it now, it is simply a YY work by a straight man in the late stage of cancer. When a man is young, he abandons his wife and children to fight for his career, and after a crushing defeat, he fantasizes that he can still have a first love waiting in the same place. Can he be forgiven just because he has been feeling guilty for more than ten years, can he be forgiven because he lost his ill-gotten gains in the end? People can have ideals but cannot be idealized. The reality is that the ex-wife has long found a warm man worthy of her cherishing and lives happily.

The level of NICOLAS CAGE's filming is uneven. I don't know if it is because this film makes people think that his play is actually a narrow one (he plays the best role with psychological problems as the first feature)

Cage's obsessive-compulsive performance always seems artificial

Matchstick Men quotes

  • Roy: I'm surprised to see you here. I figured you would have moved out to, I don't know, Hawaii.

Angela: I kind of got screwed on my cut. You know Frank.

Roy: [using her own words on her] You're gonna go swimming, you're gonna get wet, right?

  • Angela: You mad at me?

Roy: You didn't take it. I gave it to you.

Angela: It's a funny way of looking at it.

Roy: Well, I see things differently now.
