A short review with a little more words

After watching this, I'm depressed again...

The plot that was originally super bland, had no climax, and shouldn't be mind-blowing, was messed up by me. I am ignorant, confused by all kinds of place names, I just think they are moving around in Western Europe...

This film directed by Uncle George has so many elements that can make flowers, but it flows from beginning to end like white water. , even though there are so many big casts, I feel that they will flow down the water together. Although it's a real event, it's a movie after all~ Everyone's skin is itchy. I can't really feel the tension of war, the excitement of winning treasures, the excitement of fighting the enemy, the ingenious strategy, the touching historical stories, and the beauty and preciousness of artworks. Huhu rumbling on THE END.

However, taking the safety of artworks in the war as the main body, restoring this true historical story, and copying those artworks with so much effort, is still very great! ~

2.5 Let's.... The super luxurious cast cooks such mediocre and boring dishes, which is too wasteful....Clooney has once again proved that he has no talent as a director...Why not concentrate on acting... Scattered, multi-line group dramas are difficult to schedule, and none of the lines are filmed deeply. They are all in the water. Usually, they seem to want to be a little bit humorous, but from time to time, the main theme of preaching or sensational is really embarrassing...

The Monuments Men quotes

  • Claire Simone: [after listening to Granger attempt to communicate very badly in French] Would you stop speaking French? Or whatever language you are speaking?

James Granger: Well, if it weren't for us, you'd... you'd be speaking German.

Claire Simone: No. If it was not for you, I might be dead. But I would still be speaking French.

    James Granger: [Glances away] OK.

  • Walter Garfield: The army may not care about art, but they sure as shit care about gold.
