Two words, said a very simple truth. When life is threatened and the most basic living requirements cannot be met, help should be obtained. This is true humanitarianism, and it is the most important problem that all social security policies should solve.
When we talk about social security policies in Europe and the United States, we are always full of envy and jealousy, but the scope of its system implementation is still not comprehensive enough, and people at the bottom still cannot enjoy the benefits brought by welfare. And this type of people needs social protection the most. We have to reflect on who the current social policy is made for, or is it for those in power for elections, or for some people to join a certain club?
Leaving aside European and American policies for the time being, looking at today’s social security policies in China, they are completely different from each other. How much welfare can the public get? Is it available to everyone? In the face of major disasters, can such benefits solve the problem? If not, are there other social organizations that can help?
I think the reform of China's social security system and social policy is really imminent today.
