This movie has been kept in my computer and watched it twice. I don't know how many times I watched it on and off. When encountering a situation similar to the one in the play in life, I always go to the movie to find a solution. That's why I say it's an educational film of love.
Friends who have watched it all know that what is described in the play are small things in life, such as washing dishes, watching ballet together, etc. It is these little things that two people can't understand and consider each other, and the accumulation has led to a big quarrel. Both sides are uncompromising. They also listen to rumors and fight each other. In the end, the man wants to save, but the woman's heart is broken and there is no feeling. Love and marriage are over. There are many such things in life, and the film's presentation provides a sample of self-examination.

Aniston's post-divorce work, light comedy. The natural realism captures the subtle emotional ups and downs between lovers without deliberately creating a happy ending. Those who come are in a hurry, those who leave are rushing, this is the kingly way of "love".

In the name of love, we ask, we refuse, after all, it is just selfishness.

The Break-Up quotes

  • Gary: Please don't touch my ruffles. Put that one back.

  • Brooke: I just don't know how we got here. Our entire relationship, I have gone above and beyond for you, for us. I've cooked, I've picked your shit up off the floor, I've laid your clothes out for you like you're a four year old. I support you, I supported your work. If we ever had dinner or anything I did the plans, I take care of everything. And I just don't feel like you appreciate any of it. I don't feel you appreciate me. All I want is to know, is for you to show me that you care.

Gary: Why didn't you just say that to me"

    Brooke: I tried. I've tried.

Gary: Never like that, you might have said some things that meant to imply that, but I'm not a mind reader...

Brooke: It wouldn't matter you are who you are. Just leave me alone ok? Right now, just shut my door.

    Gary: Listen...

Brooke: Alright Gary just please, just leave the room. Gary just... I don't want to be near you right now, please just shut the door, please.
