Quiet

Quiet
is a very quiet film. The quietness makes me a little overwhelmed, but it reminds me of an English proverb: Still (Quiet) water runs deep. The film should have been so quiet, with more voices More music and more dialogues are superfluous. Only such quietness can really have the strength and depth to explore human nature, so that viewers can think and feel "how deep human nature is, and whether human nature is good or evil". Are two murderers evil? Of course they are evil, but is that what they are by nature? uncertain. . . Capote didn't kill, but was he good by nature? Not necessarily. But judging from the fact that he hasn't written any works since "In cold blood" and finally died of alcoholism, he can't escape the eternal guilt in his heart. Isn't what he did to the two people not murder? The last behavior and attitude of the two people are touching.

At first I became interested in Ka, and after watching Huo Pei, I turned to his interview. Ka's iconic baby voice, her speech and manners, and the delicate struggle between emotion and reason, Huo Yan is superb. He said that in order to keep Ka’s vocal habit, he forced himself to speak for six weeks, even if it scared others. 94% of conversations remember that language conflicts; face close-up transitions to enlarge sensitive values. The portrait in Perry's relic...Fujii tree?

After watching the non-virtual novel "Cold Blood", then I watched the noir film "Cold Blood" which I consider to be a minority classic, and then watched "Capote" again. What's interesting is that even with such a close connection, The novelist and the director, and the director and another director, all present the state of Rashomon in the narrative when interpreting the Kansas case itself. Going back to this movie as a biographical film, there is no cliché such as breaking away from the human struggle.

Capote quotes

  • Truman Capote: I have 94 per cent recall of all conversation. I tested it myself.

  • Truman Capote: Ever since I was a child, folks have thought they had me pegged, because of the way I am, the way I talk. And they're always wrong.
