"Capote"

This is a drama about Capote (author of the novel "Breakfast at Tiffany's") writing his "non-fiction novel" "In Cold Blood", a film with a background, but if You're not a tolerant and optimistic person, the film looks depressing and painful, and although the film's presentation is not great (it's too slow, maybe it could have changed a bit more), the material is unique and attractive - At least it can be thought-provoking for a long time. If it's a compliment, I'd rather attribute it to the novel Cold Blood and Capote himself.

Because of being ignored and lacking love, I took the opposite road to the world; because I couldn't be tolerated and understood, I went further and further...

Capote quotes

  • Truman Capote: It's as if Perry and I grew up in the same house. And one day he stood up and went out the back door, while I went out the front.

  • Perry Smith: I thought that Mr. Clutter was a very nice gentleman. I thought so right up to the moment that I cut his throat.
