A bit disappointed

I don't know why this movie is classified as pure love in many recommendations. I know if there is love, but there is no doubt that it is pure or even impure.

In many video mixes, Collins was smiling, walking at the wedding scene, and confessing affectionately; by the seaside, she smiled like a flower; in the restaurant, she looked at her lover dotingly.

But I really waited until I put these pictures one by one in the movie, only to find that they were all taken out of context.

There is no happiness, only regret and helplessness.

I don't want to use lengthy language to repeat the plot of the movie, and I don't want to accuse the plot of how bloody it is. It's just that there are aspects related to emotional morality in the middle, which are still worth talking about.

A childhood sweetheart, an intimate and beautiful existence. Shinichi and Xiaolan, Hattori and He Ye. So Rosie and Alex also encountered the same situation between them, because they were too familiar with each other, so they were ashamed to face this feeling.

But they are different from detectives. They did not choose to stick to it, but kept looking for other partners in order to cover up their lack of courage. This vicious "race" constantly consumes and eats away the courage between them.

At the prom, Alex had a hot fight with the school girl at the time, and Rosie didn't want to be outdone, and slept with the sports student - oh, Americans just like this kind of thing, sleep every time - but the sports student is a stunner Qing, something unexpected happened. Rosie hurried to Alex for help.

They escaped the dance. In the car, the surroundings were completely silent, and they looked at each other, talking and laughing. This is a good opportunity to make a confession, or, like Erkang and Qinger, talk about the philosophy of life from poetry and poetry. They chose the latter. They talked about their future visions, those dreams, and those bright lights, which made them feel that life is full of hope.

Having said that, it is necessary to say that although the name of the movie takes Rosie as the object, the whole film is told with Rosie's life as the main line.

An accident came, and the time when she was a sports student, made Rosie pregnant. She was flustered and at a loss. She's not ready to be a mother yet, she still has so many things to do.

However, the family members are Catholics, so it is impossible to destroy them. So Rosie thought that she could give the child to someone else to raise. But when she saw her daughter Katie with her own eyes, she decided to raise her by herself.

Five years later, she finally stopped being a stay-at-home mom and became a hotel waiter. Meanwhile, Alex is chasing his original dream.

Things seemed to be bipolar.

Alex's life seems perfect to outsiders. A beautiful girlfriend, a promising career, occasional high-end social occasions, and a luxurious house.

Rosie's life is like a prophecy, a hotel waiter, with almost no future at all, and she also saw that her former classmates in magazines have become famous models. Those original ambitions, do not know where to go.

But ah, there is another side.

Alex's partner never understood his bizarre thoughts. His emotions and thoughts seemed to be difficult to respond to. Not to mention her "red tapes", which are almost paranoid.

As for Rosie, she is very friendly with her daughter. Rolling on the beach, such a bright, wanton smile, and having such a mother, I think Katie is lucky enough.

It's just that I don't know which is worse. It was Alex who looked at everything in front of him, but his heart was still empty. It was Rosie who looked at her daughter who was playing softly, and could not help but have that unfinished dream in her heart.

In any case, the two of them have never been able to properly face their true inner thoughts, just repeatedly deny it. Whether it's a dream or love, it's the same.

Father died unexpectedly. In his last letter to Rosie before his death, he constantly encouraged her to pursue her dreams and told her how wonderful the process was. Just like the year she graduated from high school, her mother strongly opposed Rosie's departure, while her father unswervingly supported her in pursuing her dream. I think these family relationships are probably one of the few beautiful things in the whole film.

At Alex's wedding to Bethany, Rosie speaks as a good friend. This part is true, I have nothing to say. Soft lighting, advancing close-ups, constant editing back and forth between Rosie and Alex, all around looking at them both.

Yes, I admit, Rosie's confession was too beautiful. The truth is precious. But ah, dare to ask you are Zhao Min, openly robbing the marriage? I didn't know that I thought you two got married. The director also understands that, so he specially gave a shot to show the black lines on the bride's face and the almost uncontrollable anger - by the way, in addition to the deadly love, there are a lot of nonsense in the whole film. Leaving aside the relationship line, some of the scenes really make people laugh - Rosie and Alex almost burst into tears, and they almost kissed.

This dramatic play can be regarded as serving the main plot. However, this is also a common problem shown in many vulgar love works, that is, the relationship between the hero and heroine is higher than everything else. They don't have to consider whether they cause trouble to others, or even sacrifice the legitimate rights and interests of others. This is immoral, but good feelings, even great ones, must be moral. Morality to society, morality to each other, morality to family. Only now, no one seems to care about that. But I care.

Finally, Alex came to the newly opened hotel where Rosie realized her dream, and said in a soft tone that he gave up everything in the past, just to go to you. Well, I can't help but run to watch the lively children, the good friends who are smiling and pretending to be silly and create opportunities for them to be alone, the gentle sunshine and the warm wind, this part is quite beautiful.

The faces of the male and female protagonists are quite tall and pleasing to the eye. But I still don't want beauty to be justice. As a story in and of itself, there's nothing to blame for this movie. However, those behaviors in the story that should not be advocated or even condemned were "pardoned" by the beautiful face.

Persistence in good feelings, shyness and bravery in front of true love can actually be expressed in another way.

There are not many truths in the world, and a woman's blush is better than a large number of words.
