Why is there war?

Some people complain about the slow pace. I don't think the pace is too slow. If you've been worrying about whether the happiness of this group of people will last a little longer. If you've seen Pan's Labyrinth, you'll feel very familiar and natural to the rhythm of The Book Thief. The same beautiful little girl, with a similar fate, we can't help but wonder why such a beautiful thing is in the midst of war. In fact, you should ask why there is a war. If you have witnessed the whole process of the pain brought by the war to a person or a family, no matter which one, you will not bear it. But when people are hot-headed, they will forget everything and the pain that a living person will experience. In the final analysis, war movies want us to see how beautiful things can be destroyed, how collective games can destroy innocent individuals.

Many movies have narration throughout, but the special thing about this film is that the narrator himself is death. A very warm story, the characters are very successful, showing the goodness of human nature of different personalities. But the rhythm is too flat, the final ending is very sad, and the sugar is too heavy. I may be moved and liked it when I watch it, but it is easy to forget afterwards. The music is sad but also, hopeful. @Park Terrace 6

Liesel Meminger: There once was a ghost of a boy who liked to live in the shadows, so he wouldn't frighten people. His job was to wait for his sister, who was still alive. She wasn't afraid of the dark, because she knew that's where her brother was. At night, when darkness came to her room, she would tell her brother about the day. She would remind him how the sun felt on his skin, and what the air felt like to breathe, or how snow felt on his tongue. And that reminded her that she was still alive.
