Written before watching the 3D version (written on January 15 on the day of its release)
At the end of 2004, I was 8 years old and "Kung Fu" was released. At that time, I was in my hometown in Jilin City, Northeast China. There was only one theater, and the Jilin Railway Culture Palace released this film. I clearly remember that there was a big poster at that time, and it said what time the show was, but because I didn't know what it was at that time, I didn't enter the Palace of Culture to buy a ticket to watch it.
In 2005, "Kung Fu" was released as a genuine DVD by Taisheng Culture, which was the agent of Sony Home Entertainment at that time (then it was still Columbia Samsung Home Entertainment). version, I bought the D5 version with little awareness of this aspect at the time.
I bought it and watched it. During the process of watching it, my mother and I burst into laughter, especially the most classic part of the charter wife chasing A Xing, which almost made us both faint from laughter. But what impresses me is the passage of the coolie, the deep-fried ghost tailor, and the axe gang, accompanied by the music of "Sichuan General's Order", which makes the blood boil. That's why, after watching it for a long time, I like to hold the broom at home and hum along with the "Sichuan General Order" with the words "Hey Ya", and beat the house to the ground. Just say it. Thinking about why it was done at that time, it probably wasn't because of anything else, but maybe it was because it was so cool after watching that paragraph at the time!
Unexpectedly, this trend also spread to the school, and all the students and teachers also talked about the film. When our teacher Bai, who teaches information technology, said: "Most of this film is made of special effects, and it was made with nearly 50 computers. The pig cage city where my mother-in-law lives is also made with special effects." After listening to this passage, I and I My friends were amazed! It is estimated that at that time I knew that there were special effects in the original movie.
After class, I deliberately walked up to Mr. Bai and stepped on his foot. That's right, it was the hilarious scene where Zhou Xingchi stepped on his toes. I was just teasing him, and the teacher said, it's just a special effect in a movie, but in reality Don't step on people's feet like that.
As time went on, at that time, I would almost take out "Kung Fu" to watch it again and again every holiday, because it was so hilarious, fun, and beautiful! Later, Stephen Chow released "Yangtze River No. 7" in 2008, and "Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons" in 2013. We agreed that although it looked good (Yangtze River No. 7 was still crying at the time, and I watched it twice in the theater), it was far inferior to "Kung Fu". 's superb.
As the release of the 3D version was approaching, I took it out and looked at it again. I was not only looking at the feelings, but also found countless easter eggs through various analyses, and I also looked at these details. At the same time, I also found that this film had already produced many screen effects that some 3D movies have now, and I immediately looked forward to the 3D version. After reading it, I will write about the effect of the 3D version.
After I read it (in the early morning of January 18)
, I finally watched the 3D version. Let me talk about the process of my watching first.
20 minutes before the movie started, I could almost recite all the lines. I think this is because I didn't watch it so many times for nothing when I was a child. Although few people watched it at 1:15 in the afternoon, I didn't want to talk anymore because I felt tired and I couldn't resist my feelings and wanted to continue to follow, and finally followed a part of it.
When it came to the classic passage of the Axe Gang, I couldn't help but jumped up.
When I saw the sound of the "Sichuan General's Order" mentioned earlier, I recalled my childhood (the previous paragraph) and sang along with "Hey, Hey," again.
When Ah Xing finally reunited with the dumb girl and played "Just Live for You One Day", I thought I would cry, because now I hear this song and feel that I miss it ten years later, but I still haven't done it because of my reasons. can cry.
Let's talk about the 3D effect.
Before listening to the so-called "internationally famous 3D production company, which has produced/reproduced many 3D blockbusters", I immediately became confident and looked forward to the 3D effect with great hope.
After reading it, I found out that the result is not like that at all. Most of the people who originally expected it to be effective are not! I also said that after the restoration, I didn't feel it, and I felt that the picture quality was not as good as Blu-ray.
Although the level of effect of the characters is relatively clear, there are a few shots with very obvious 3D effects, and there are few scenes that I expected to have. There are still close-ups of the rolling pin, and the axe helping dance Bi Liang's axe (this is especially obvious), and there is a shot of a red tassel smashing two guns. When I watched it, I was also analyzing it. After all, it was a film from ten years ago. At that time, there was no 3D. Although the special effects were done in 2D vision.
When I read the end credits, I didn't expect that the so-called "internationally famous 3D production company, which produced/reproduced many 3D blockbusters" was actually Cube Shadow, and the one in Jiangsu that turned "2012"! Let's just say Cube Shadow, the 3D of "Robocop" and "Ice Age 2" that were transferred before is simply a decoration, and this time, "Kung Fu" is also, it almost destroyed this classic action movie! Why do I say almost, because I said earlier that there are still a few shots with particularly obvious effects.
In short, what I watch is mainly feelings, because I didn't watch two movie tickets in the theater, and I felt the charm of the classics under the sound effects of the theater. 3D Shenma's are all regarded as serious or not, and what is the effect? Sure enough, China's is still not serious enough. Who told the market that 3D has been screwed up, and it's just like that.
(Adding a sentence, it seems that no matter if it was 95 or 99 minutes originally, in this 3D version, there are a few paragraphs that are obviously slowed down, the most obvious is the part where Agui changed from the residents who hugged him to the tram track after his death)
