Across the ocean to see you

That night, I watched three Hayao Miyazaki films in one go: "The Witch's Delivery Service", "Princess Mononoke", and "Ponyo on the Cliff". The first two were his earlier works, and the latter one was later .
But my favorite is the last one.
It's been a long time since I watched it, and I haven't written a review for a long time. But little Bo Niu lingered in my mind. I really like this little guy.

This is the story of a reborn little mermaid.
The cute little mermaid meets her little prince, the five-year-old Sousuke. Unlike Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, Sosuke said to Ponyo from the first time he saw Ponyo: I will definitely protect you.
So Ponyo identified this little man.
She licked the blood on Sousuke's finger, transformed into a little man, stole his father's magic water, and rushed to the sea.
My favorite part of the movie is Ponyo running on the waves, running as fast as she can, chasing Sousuke's mother Lisa's car because she wants to be with Sousuke.
Sometimes she looks like a little magical girl, sometimes she looks like an ordinary little girl, she runs persistently until her waves wash away the keg that Sousuke hangs on the fence that once raised her, and she finally finds him .
Ponyo held the small bucket and finally stepped out of the waves.

When she sprinted 100 meters to Sosuke, the prince of the fairy tale did not continue to be stupid, Sousuke did not live up to the expectations in Ponyo's eyes at all, he asked her: Is Ponyo?
Ponyo's eyes suddenly radiated: Hmm! It's Ponyo!
Sousuke asked again: Is it really Ponyo?
Ponyo replied: It's Ponyo! !
Sousuke looked back at Lisa: Mom, Ponyo is back as a little girl!

The loveliness of this story is that there is no distance between God and man, and God is no longer mysterious. Everyone knows that Ponyo is the little fish, but no one reduces their love for her because of this. The five-year-old Sousuke accepted this reality because of the child's innocence, but Lisa's calmness about it had to be admirable. How kind and temperament an adult must be to be able to look at these incredible things so calmly.

The two children ate and drank deeply and fell asleep, and the monstrous waves finally calmed down.
At this time, Ponyo's mother and father also made a decision to let Ponyo lose her magic and become an ordinary little girl.
Ponyo's father didn't want to do this, because if Sousuke stopped loving Ponyo, she would become a sea foam.
And her mother said, we were born in a bubble.

Yes, since you have come here, why can't you accept it?

When Ponyo and Sousuke fell into a deep sleep on the way to find Lisa, the angel finally came to the world.

Sousuke agreed without hesitation that Ponyo's mother would love Ponyo for the rest of her life, even though Ponyo was originally just a little mermaid.

At the end of the story, Ponyo becomes an ordinary five-year-old girl, and she is no longer the princess of the ocean.
I don't know what will happen later, I just sincerely hope that Sousuke will not forget what Ponyo gave up for him and what she will face for him. But think again, if under such pressure, can Sousuke still love Ponyo as always?

Maybe I'm thinking too much.

In fact, any love is like this, even everything is like this. Maybe it was once vigorous, once over the mountains, once across the ocean, but no matter how heartwarming this episode was, the story will eventually become dull. If you want to choose to stay with the person you love for a lifetime, regardless of whether this life can really be realized or not, you must first give up your own magic that could turn all beings upside down.
Become an ordinary person, and these stories are just one of thousands of stories.
Of course, what turned into a bubble has been handed down forever. For thousands of years, everyone has been talking about Andersen and commemorating the little mermaid written by him.
And happy stories have unavoidable endings.
So, if one day, I really cross the ocean to see you, you don't need to be surprised, just take my hand and lead me back, just fine.

Just like I asked one of my classmates a few days ago, someone told me that I should be at an age to enjoy, and I should go to get off work and go to work with the person I love every day, and watch TV together when I go home... At that time, I was a little surprised at this kind of life. It could be called happiness. And I, at least I don't choose this kind of life now.
The classmate said, in fact, insipidity and happiness are not contradictory.

Ponyo is like that!

Miyazaki's films have undoubtedly gone downhill in recent years, not in terms of the quality of his films, but in terms of influence and box office. This Ponyo on the Cliff didn't change that trend either. But I feel that it is such a movie, maybe the results are flat, but it is hard to hide happiness.
