Unchanging stereotype and heroism

I believe that people who like this movie can have thousands of reasons to like it. The movie contains the elements that a blockbuster should have, such as speed and passion, handsome and beautiful women, violent smuggling of humanity, and the blurred boundaries of political society. It looks good at first glance, and it makes people I wanted to give him a thumbs up.

But I was inexplicably upset after watching it . I

was very happy at the beginning to see Chinese people playing such a heavy role. But the whole story is STEREOTYPE, loves gambling, illegal smuggling, political refugees, and there is no positive description in it. The Chinese people in China have only a weak image that survives between the edges of the law. Even when the gangsters owe the police, they also lose in a mess, and even die in one blow. Even the bad guys are also weak. In the film, the Chinese Americans not only ask the Americans for help. It was doing evil in Little China Street. As for the other common people who turned a deaf ear to the hunger around them, they still looked timid. The

only thing that made me feel a little bold throughout the article was the underworld that gave the police a shot. This is the bad guy. The ability to have.

As for Tibet’s political issues, I won’t comment on it. The Buddhism mentioned in several places in the film also hints at DLLM and Tibet.

There are two emphasized lines in the whole article, short temper and no break. Impatient (negative description) and no brakes (positive description), the protagonist of the movie gives up being a lawyer, has the ability to react quickly, a correct moral concept, and a girlfriend who loves him and fears him, he advocates listening to self-advocating a free life, implying Democracy and resistance to a well-behaved society. The word democracy was also mentioned in the mouth of his boss RAJ. So many points have created a charming hero. The beautiful appearance and passionate lifestyle make people feel against this behavior Naturally produces yearning.

In fact, this is extreme idealism. If the protagonist represents liberty, it means that freedom is running rampantly, regardless of personal influence on others. Whether it is knocking down pedestrians or vehicles, it is not only himself that is dangerous. He is still killing other people's lives. This is like being wrapped in a gorgeous appearance of "democracy", just for oneself to live the way you want, regardless of the life other people want. We live in a circle, just There is bound to be conflict. In order to keep the life they want, mutual tolerance is inevitable. If everyone can give in for one's freedom, then such freedom is never called freedom. The democracy that is being promoted is blunt to a large extent. Is it the same?

Because I want to live like this, then I have the right to live like this. Ignore the harm to other people. Maybe you will say that there is destruction only if there is creation. So what is destroying you is social order or democracy and freedom? , If you feel that social order is destroying you, how do you prove that order is not creating anything. Maybe my knowledge is too shallow to understand the true meaning of democracy.

But I can believe that this film is largely in progress Give people the ideological patterns of the Chinese people living in deep waters without democracy and freedom, and the ideological patterns of the Chinese love gambling and so on. This promotes the Americans to be more complacent about themselves. I agree that we do not have democracy and freedom, but I do not I feel that the United States has democracy and freedom, and it is more of a mouthful of beautiful words and political ugliness that we don’t need to look good, and even more unhappy that the United States feels that it is saving us, unhappy about the stereotype of the Chinese in the film.

Of course who's to say it was liberty that the movie was trying to express. maybe it was me over thinking, maybe i'm the one that's been brainwashed.
