From a modern point of view, the film is more like a fashion magazine led by Hepburn.
The few characters portrayed are only the description of the male protagonist in the first half, as well as the lazy, indifferent nature of Italians.
But as a film from the 1950s, light and shadow and composition are worth learning.
The lack of narrative and characterization may be the limitation of the times.
