The plot is flawed and has no turbulence. Maybe foreigners think it's good because the Western production team adapted the Chinese story from a Western perspective. Maybe it conforms to the aesthetics of foreigners. After all, Westerners only like the China they want to see. As a Chinese, what I see in the movies is more nondescript, even incomprehensible and inexplicable. Liu Yifei has become Disney's first Asian princess, and it will not change the reputation that has been consuming early TV dramas for more than ten years. Several other big-name actors, to be honest, were disappointed. I'd better watch the animated version of "Mulan".
