Who will kill the deer

When I saw Martin for the first time, I knew he was definitely not easy.

A child of his age has maturity and sophistication beyond his peers, his gestures are generous and calm, and he is charming.

The result was just as I expected, under the appearance of an angel, there was actually a ruthless, tit-for-tat devil.

Sometimes, doing something wrong can't be solved just by saying sorry, you need atonement.

Since it is an atonement, you must pay, otherwise you will not be able to offset your sins.

All I can say is that this is life.

The cold and depressing photography and harsh sound effects make this already scary and absurd story add more disturbing experience in style, and the overhead reality construction makes all kinds of abnormal and anti-logical things strangely self-consistent . I prefer the second half of the plot starting from paralysis, which is particularly morbid, and the part where the Russian turntable kills is really scary. Reviews can be polarized, but individuals tend to enjoy the discomfort.

I thought it was a different real world from "The Lobster", but in fact it was still a self-world created by Lanthimos. It didn't need logic or explanation. It only relied on a series of symbolic metaphors to promote the development of the plot. The thrilling soundtrack and exquisite picture composition are empty. This year, there are too many movies with nothing to say. "Creation is not by addition but by subtraction."

The Killing of a Sacred Deer quotes

  • Martin: He should have come out of that surgery alive, but he died.

  • Student's Dad: The boy is very good at math and physics. Kim is very good at literature and history. They're both a little restless, but they've never been rude to any of the staff.

Steven Murphy: If you had to choose between them, which would you said is the best?
