I heard before that this movie was adapted by Christopher McQuarrie into another thing with an adult concept, but I personally feel that after watching it, it still retains the style of the live-action version of traditional fairy tales. I watched the high-definition version of this film at 739 Film and Television yesterday, and I feel that the picture quality is absolutely top-notch, and the storyline is very interesting.

The film is adapted from a traditional British fairy tale. In order to achieve the best visual effect, the film was shot in the best villages of the British landscape. The lush vegetation, hard rocks, and green moss allow the audience to fully experience the visual and auditory experience. Take a peek at nature's chirping of birds and flowers! I personally liked this movie very much and gave it an 8.5!

Jack the Giant Slayer quotes

  • Isabelle: You must think I'm very silly.

Jack: No. I just wish that... Well, earlier, at the market...

Isabelle: Thank you... for defending my honor, Jack.

Jack: Anytime. Here, I'll take your coat. And until you find your own adventure...

Isabelle: [receives a book from Jack] "The Giants of Gantua."

Jack: My father used to read that to me.

Isabelle: That was always my mother's job.

Jack: I hope you find what you're looking for, Your Highness.

    Isabelle: Call me Isabelle.

    Jack: Isabelle.

  • Elmont: Well, she's not in the house. This is the only other place she could have gone.

Crawe: If she climbed down, we would have seen her.

Elmont: [notices a footprint in the mud] She didn't climb down. She climbed up.

Roderick: Why would she do that?

    Crawe: If she were cold.

    Elmont: Or hungry.

Jack: [to himself] Or looking for an adventure.
