It's the sixth time I have seen My Best Friend's Wedding. To be honest with u guys, this movie sucessfully almost drove me to tears, everytime. Being a gastrologist, Juls seemed to be a belly-goddess: beautiful, logical, charming and above all, a big woman, the kinda perfect woman idol for the new generation. I am so impressed with the satisfaction and pride she carried in her smile when she said, Michael, my Michael, Michael O'Neal. They had seen others through everthing . Nine years is so long a period of time that Juls forgot to say I love u to the man of her life. They were just so in love, but they didn't belong to each other, or could I say, they even didn't 't realize how important the other was until the last minute---Michael's wedding.
She always thought he could be right there waiting for her. Whenever depression, anxiety or sadness took hold of her mind, what she needed is merely turning around and looking back, he would be standing there, greeting her with the everlasting smile which can comfort all her sorrow. Being kinda of a big woman, Juls was not only tough in the appearance, but also strong in the mind. Given a second thought, was she really? She kpet convincing herself that she was an independent woman who had a wonerful career, who belonged to nobody other than herself. She was to arrogant to confess that she was deeply in love with Michael. We don't wanna blame her on all the mess she'd made on the wedding when we see the desperate begging bumping out of Juls' arrogant mouth: Michael, I love you, choose me, marry me, let me make u happy, please. The word, please,fully illustrated a desperate heart that was driven into corner coz of her poor dignity, stuggling to fight for her love. But she only ignored one thing, the simplest but the most important fact. Micheal was finally over her after nine years. He didn' t love her, not any more. Everytime she pushed him off when he wanted to hug her in public, everytime she nit-picking at his job, everytime she flied at ease leaving him alone, his boiling love was just cooled down little by little , finally to the point that he switched to another woman, a woman who could follow his step and be his little girl. If I could go back in time, I would rather choose to follow u, take me away wherever u go. The fact is that we couldn't. I can't give up my dream, give up my pathway, change my life to fit into ur life. Though I almost know for sure that u are probably the man of my life, I just can't imagine my life without my dream. How sad it is that I can picture a life without you.
