Forgive my ignorance, the reason I watched it was because of "The Whale Circus", the long shot made me feel that this movie is not rushing to the box office, it should have depth and connotation.
However, maybe it's the gloomy tone from the beginning to the end of the film + long shots + dark soundtrack + extremely simple plot, I actually ignored Scarlett who took off, even ignored...
You see, this tone is not for human senses Desire to go, it is more like a naked display of an innocent cruelty.
It may be that I didn't sink in and didn't understand the director's intentions. However, I always felt that the long shots were not bold enough, the special effects were not satisfactory, and the artistic conception was there, but it was still not strong enough.
Strangely, after watching it, I thought of "The Antichrist". Would this movie be more pleasing if there were more beautiful scenes?
In short, it was too plain, and Scarlett's capital was wasted.
