Reflections on the hostage incident

After the Philippine hostage incident, I think it is really necessary for police officers to reflect on and improve their negotiation skills and their command and management when dealing with emergency tasks such as hostage rescue by watching this film. I didn't say how well this film was done, but at least it can cause some reflection.

This movie is very old, but I still recommend it. At first I thought it was just a negotiation, but there is more to it. Of course, it would be nice to be able to summarize negotiation skills during the viewing of the film, but audiences are often caught up in the plot and want to know what the truth is. What to learn here is how to command and manage in emergencies, how to be a leader, and how a leader can be convincing and successful. At first, I thought that there was confusion caused by conflicts of interest, of course, but only from the perspective of the director, the commander next to the director, and the negotiator, the command was chaotic enough. In fact, communication in the military is the most primitive and essential pratice.

I have to say, this is a man's play, but the men in it all act very well! Especially the expression in the eyes is not to be said. It is especially recommended for police officers to savor it again.
