Isn't it the same for the female alien in the skin? At the beginning, she recognized her way of life and hunting, just using the skins of earth women to hunt for food. However, she lived in the crowd for a long time, became more and more human, and began to have feelings, even love. When she fell in love with an earth man and wanted to go further, she found out that she was not an earth person and couldn't hehe. This is how the contradiction arises.
When a person's spirit is ahead of the body, the pain is great. So, the female alien is almost crazy. Like almost all and alien love, it ended in tragedy.
