The heroine Scarlett Johansson is definitely the highlight of this film. This film is more like a film made to evoke people's physiological reactions. Its gimmicks are too exaggerated in the exposed parts, covering the original artistry. To put it simply, the identity of an alien species is lost and ultimately harms itself. It seems that it has the sprouting of human nature, but it is destined to be unable to understand the world of human consciousness, let alone the world of desire under the body, and it cannot truly integrate into this world. But a glimmer of unrealistic hope makes it ultimately destroyed by the so-called prey (humans). The film handles too much stream of consciousness, there are large sections of no background pictures, the strange background music deliberately created by the violin, the swallowing of the body, and the few obscure Scottish dialects. Taking care of the audience who want to watch the restricted screen, but also to express this strange world in the eyes of the species in the original work. Although it has gotten rid of the mode of conventional sci-fi films, it has fallen into a lengthy artistic conception structure, which seems that the foreshadowing of this film is too long and the result is too much. short.
