Maggie Cheung is too beautiful and her performance is too smart to support this drama. Throughout the whole process, I felt that she was not worth it, not worth liking Liang Chaowei, not worth paying for him. It wasn't until I saw the subtitles at the end of the film that I was sure that Tony Leung liked her, not just using her to get revenge on the two who cheated. But Tony Leung obviously prefers his wife in the play, and he laughs happiest only when his wife calls him and says that he will go home early. He smiled very subtly when facing Maggie Cheung.
