"You'll never get me."

"You'll never get me." The
woman said this to the man who fled to happiness with her.
Is it the lingering after "I want you"? Absolutely not.

Listen to that music: sinister and unfathomable.
The man enters the woman with the body, but how does the soul enter?
Where does the soul come from, and where does it go?

How does a man's soul meet a woman?
If it was just that focused glance,
why did the soul's embrace not last so long, and
why he couldn't find her later.

Between man and woman, between flesh and flesh, who is in control?
Why should a loved one get lost on the highway and who will show the way to the truth?

David Lynch's works are still very delicate. Personally, I think this film is preparing for "Mulholland Drive", but the style of pretending to be a ghost is still very obvious. The mysterious person like a ghost still looks disgusting. The drama doesn't have much to do with it, you can watch it when you have nothing to do and can't sleep.

Arnie: There's nine people down here, and you can ask seven of them. If you can get that price from one of them, I'll let you ask the other two.

  • Mr. Eddy: Boy, that's smooth. Smooth as shit off a duck's ass!
