This comment has three purposes:
1. To clarify the plot for those who do not understand the plot;
2. To add some plots for those who do not understand the whole plot;
3. To add a positive comment to the counselor;

[Plot]:
In view of some people I didn't even understand the plot, I ignore the details and dialogue here. The plot of this film is as follows: In the

beginning, "The Counselor" shows off with his new girlfriend Laura. The counselor later appeared in Amsterdam to select diamonds for his girlfriend and was taught for the first time.

As a lawyer, counselor has been laundering money for Reiner. At this time, because he was in an economic crisis, he was facing an urgent need for funds to open a nightclub with Reiner, so he participated in the investment of a high-return drug through the middleman Westray introduced by Reiner. smuggling. Reiner's leopard-print girlfriend Malkina also learned about the plan through Reiner at this time, and planned to looting the drugs. In Mexico, a truck disguised as a dung truck carried cocaine across the border into the United States.

In the prison, a counselor's female prisoner client asked him to bail her son, "The Green Hornet", who was detained for speeding. It just so happens that he is the person responsible for passing the "truck key" in the drug smuggling. As the saying goes, no coincidence can't make a book, this is the only coincidence in this film, and then there is the plot afterwards.

Malkina tracked down drugs, hired the "wire man" to behead "The Green Hornet" and obtained the "truck key". After driving away from the truck, the "Wire Man" and his party were shot and killed by Mexican gangs disguised as policemen on the way. The gangs took back the truck, and the cocaine was delivered to the Chicago buyer as planned.

At the same time, the gang determined that the drug theft was related to counselor's bail "The Green Hornet" and took action against the counselor, Reiner, and Westray. When Westray, as the intermediary, got the letter, he informed the counselor that the situation was very bad and that he had plans to get out, so that the counselor asked for more blessings. The counselor was educated again. The panicked counselor asked Reiner for help, but Reiner only told him that his fate was fixed.

Knowing that he was trapped and trying to escape, Reiner was accidentally killed in a car chase with a Mexican gang; his girlfriend Laura was also kidnapped by the gang on the way to meet with counselor.

The counselor became more and more aware of the sinister situation and tried to seek help from all walks of life, but failed and was very desperate. In the end, counselor talked with the gang's senior personnel, was educated for the third time, and learned that he was unable to recover. Counselor, who returned to Mexico, received a disc saying "Hola!" at the hotel and collapsed. Somewhere, Laura's headless body was dumped in a landfill.

Knowing that the plan failed, Malkina did not give up. Before escaping to Hong Kong, Malkina designed to use Natalie to lure Westray into stealing Westray's bank account, who had fled to London, and hired someone to behead her in broad daylight.

In the restaurant, Malkina ate with her banker and said that she was still very hungry. The whole film ends here.

[Extended version content]: In
the Blu-ray extended version released not long ago, two unreleased content have been added.

"Dog food"-happened 30 minutes before the film began, the son of the female prisoner Ruth, "The Green Hornet" showed his face this time, bought a bag of dog food in the store beside the highway, and deceived the salesperson to say that he was I went on a diet. I bought it for myself. The effect was amazing. I went to the hospital once. The salesperson asked if it was a physiological reaction? The answer was, "No, ma'am, I was sitting in the street, licking my balls, and a car hit me."

"Pete" -Pete 's greatest impression in this film is "dead beautiful" . In the extended version, after Pete spurted blood and fell to the ground, a scene of collecting the corpse was added. The paramedics lifted the corpse, and the cut head fell off. The paramedics picked up the head and placed it on the straddle of the corpse.

[Content of Character Backstory]:
Some people who follow The Counselor's official channel on youtube may have noticed that in addition to releasing a series of trailers, after the movie was released, the official upload of two character backstory. Both stories happened before the content of the movie.

"Cameron Diaz & Javier Bardem"-Reiner meets Malkina at a gas station on the Mexican border. Reiner struck up a conversation with the cheetah in the Malkina car and asked if it was friendly. Malkina replied, "it depends, she has good instincts." Reiner asked again, what would it do if it got out of the cage? Malkina replied "hunting", and then asked "what have you got?" Reiner replied, "great plans".

"Michael Fassbender & Natalie Dormer"-counselor went to the underwear shop to buy underwear for his new girlfriend Laura, whom she met three days ago, and the salesperson was Natalie Dormer. The counselor is in control and wants to choose underwear for Laura according to his own preferences, and flirts with the very sultry Natalie on underwear styles. This paragraph is very sexy.

Regardless of whether it is international or domestic, tomato or watercress, this film is full of bad reviews. Large sections of dialogue with the film if there is no connection makes the viewing process seem extra long. When I came out of the theater, I only thought of such a movie, but unfortunately such a good cast.

But before long, the characters and plots in the film will always come back to mind from time to time. Portraying unique characters, vague dialogues, and unintelligible plots will always make people want to ponder for a while. Until the Blu-ray was

released not long ago, after watching it for the second time, I couldn't help but say, what's not to like? The pale picture covering the whole film, the cruel monotonous background music, should respond to Malkina's phrase "truth has no temperature". As a counselor, the protagonist tried the law by himself, but was constantly educated in another world he entered; it was Laura's naivety and ignorance of the evil that existed around her that made her fall into the abyss of the dark world; with " Malkina, who conceals herself with leopard print, also has an ulterior past. As cheeta, she uses her method to hunt mercilessly in the cold society; Reiner is the cutest person in the film, and his adventurous and carefree character is doomed to him. Destiny; and Pete, Pete, Pete, creating such an image in the film can be regarded as the best use.

I don't want to refute some bad reviews or maintain the film itself, people and people themselves have bad tastes. Regardless of the dialogue in the movie about diamonds, about evil, or about the reality of the world, to me, they are like gems dressed up on them, which are worthy of taste. Drug delivery, gun battles, and the three wonderful beheadings, as well as all the details, are all descriptions that can convey pleasure to me. They are all typical Ridley Scott. Movies may be entertainment, they may be works of art, or both. The counselor is a combination of the two in my eyes. Five stars are not enough for this film, four stars are just right.

Finally, if you don’t like Ridley Scott or Cormac McCarthy, what do you watch this film for?
