In the confrontation with a married man, the two are frank enough to meet each other with bones, and the chatter can hardly hide Woody's weakness. In the debate, he has not forgotten to have a deep worry about the stereotype of human personality, but he has turned a blind eye to his own loss.
In fact, the whole film is full of such self-contradictory, self-deceiving and obvious loopholes, as if only in this way can we vent our worries without being so heavy and bitter.
2 Retaining is just a fearless struggle,
a heavy and obviously futile run, which allows the audience to have enough time to think while letting everything settle. If the film ended in this run, it would not be too bad. But Woody catches up with the seventeen-year-old girl who is leaving, and someone may find solace in their dialogue to ease the thick haze the whole film creates.
But this last scene left me with a touch of sadness and despair. The adult world of lost and self-deception, mirrored by the freckled face of a 17-year-old girl, has nowhere to hide, and Woody's every explanation deepens the sadness.
Can the overly complicated adult world be cleaned up only by simple ignorance?
A man who was not confused was comforted by a 17-year-old girl: "You should have confidence in people."
Yes, why would I not want to!
3 Do you love me is a spell
In the impression, a 17-year-old girl repeatedly asks Do you love me. This sentence is like a hot potato, whether it is accepted or not is a question. This sentence is undoubtedly the biggest spell in the whole film. All thoughts and confusions about love finally fall on this ancient question.
The 17-year-old girl's understanding of love is only happiness and sexual harmony, so she can ask this sentence naturally. As an adult now, can you still ask each other: Do you love me or not? The "ability" I'm talking about is obviously the "ability" of ability.
Whenever the girl threw out this sentence, I felt that Woody was facing a great enemy. From his hesitancy and confusion, I even had the mentality of watching the fun: Oh! I was asked again! See how you answer.
The 17-year-old was serious and could not bear to be perfunctory easily. Woody answered twice, once for falling in love with someone else, and once for loving you of course.
However, no matter what the answer is, it has been unable to cause any waves in me.
How sad!
