Of course, I admire the main theme of the film's concern for Africa and the exposure of human nature. I can't deny it. The main content that the film wants to express is good. But, I don't really agree with the way the movie is made. The label says it's both a romance and a suspense movie. The movie gives people the feeling that they want to take care of both too much, but they seem to have no priority. The love part is blunt because of space limitations, and the suspenseful part is procrastinated because of unnecessary interruptions. Two hours is too limited, it is not wise to condense all the essence, there should be a better way to express it.

Oh, that last scene made me sad. Tessa was my home. Because you're there, I'm going to go the way you've walked. The world has been reduced to the narration I once came to. Details: Kenyan scenery + The little girl jumped out of the plane and ran to see off the rescuers, although the best result to meet her was a refugee camp.

There are many similar themes, and the immortal gardener is not particularly unusual compared to other works. The director wanted to express too many things, but the results were not perfect, which is quite satisfactory. But aside from the clichéd plot, the structure of the film is good, and the photography is beautiful.
