Every time I have nothing to say about the production of American blockbusters. This kind of movie content that brings pixel games to life is really only thought of by the Yankees with max brains.
The advantages I have finished, the following are all left to the disadvantages.
First of all, let's not talk about the old-fashioned plot of civilian heroes saving the world, harvesting love, and ridiculing the president of the United States. Seeing the end of the whole movie, I suddenly felt a strong resemblance. Isn't this TM the 1996 "The Martian Playing the Earth" 2? The same aliens launched a war against the Americans, the same useless American soldiers, the same eccentric grandmother, who also satirically vilified the White House and ridiculed the President of the United States. The only thing that has not changed is that the monsters are different, from ugly Martians to the familiar 8bit game characters on the screen. It's been 20 years, and the Great Sage's conjuration has been turned into a bracelet. Are you still making a new version of Journey to the West?
Secondly, the traces of the whole movie supporting the progress bar are too obvious. To be honest, the first 60 minutes of the war scene was not thrilling at all, and I felt that the audience would not have any great difficulty thinking about it with their toes. Then the general story starts here with surprises. Then you came unexpectedly! It's good here. There was a long inexplicable party scene. When Xiaopang sang on the stage, I thought the screen was about to go black and the scene was over. Then, after more than ten minutes of unnutritious "affectionate" dialogue between the male and female protagonists, the "accident" really took place.
Finally, and a little infuriatingly, the entire logic of the movie is also lost. Can you please? It's okay to lose some logic in domestic films. After all, you are an American blockbuster! In the second half, how could the dog that licked her beside grandma appear inexplicably after a few seconds of flashing, and it seemed to be friendly to grandma, not at all hostile, so why did this paragraph appear. Sorry, I don't quite understand how Q Bert appeared suddenly, and inexplicably became good friends with the protagonists, and finally became Chubby's dream lover because of the tears of love. Those four cars are pretty cool, but why did it take so much time and effort to inexplicably and just happen to be built just like that before knowing what the aliens declared war about?
After walking out of the movie theater, I felt that the whole film evoked many memories of our childhood after all, and it is still very meaningful to the generations who have played the game console.
So I decided to give this movie three points.
Before I went home to write a movie review, I saw that this movie was adapted from a very popular pixel invasion short film, so I searched and repainted it for 2.5 minutes and watched it.
After watching it, I just want to say something about this movie, which is 50 times as long as the short film, and not even twice as exciting as the short film.
